Eating Refined Grains Instead Of Whole Grains

Refined grains have the essential fiber and vitamins removed during processing. Although some of the vitamins can be put back into refined grains, the fiber however are stripped away during the milling process. You should eat more whole grain for the fiber they contain, which can help in digestion and bringing down blood sugar levels.

Eating Too much Red Meat

While red meat can also have nutrients like protein and vitamins that the body needs. But too much red meat can also be bad for you. Processed red meat can be high in saturated fats that can cause heart disease. If you must eat red meat, make sure that you choose lean portions and those that come from grass-fed cows.
