Plant fats such as those found in avocado can actually help people stay healthy. These fats are very satiating, making you fill full even while eating less. It can become a good strategy to use for weight loss.

Food cravings mean you have nutritional deficiency.

Some believe that your cravings are your body’s way to say that it needs something essential. When you crave for something to eat, your body may be signaling that it is trying to address some type of nutrient deficiency. By giving in to these cravings, you are just trying to satisfy your body in getting essential nutrients it needs. But the fact of the matter is that most food cravings have an emotional or psychological trigger. It does not necessarily mean that your body lacks some nutrients that make it develop cravings for something to eat.
